NYBA TRAVEL

The NYBA travel program is designed for those boys and girls in grades 4-8 who live in Northboro and meet the age/grade requirements. The Metro West Travel organization and the NYBA travel program are designed for those serious about playing competitive travel basketball and tryout for stratified teams.


Practices begin in early November. Travel teams will have 2 practices per week, typically one practice either Tuesday or Wednesday AND Friday evening or Saturday morning. Weeknight practices will be 90 minutes and the weekend practice will be for 60 minutes. All teams play games on Sundays, with a few exceptions for Saturday games. There is no basketball commitment over the Holiday break, but there are MetroWest games on each of the February vacation Sundays. No practices during February vacation week.
